This story is about Najibullah Zazi, who is under investigation for a terrorist plot against the United States. Zazi, who is 24 is from Afghanistan. At the age of 7 Zazi moved to Pakistan, and 1999 moved to Queens, New York. Zazi now lives in Denver and works as shuttle driver for the airport. The FBI has been question Zazi but no arrest has been made. FBI have discovered a laptop in an apartment that Zazi had been visiting with direction of how to build a bomb. Zazi has also admitted to being at a terror training camp in Pakistan, where Zazi has had contact with al-Qaida. Zazi's attorney, Arthur Folsom says that Zazi was just at the wrong place that the wrong time.
Well I don't like to judge people I don't know, but the clue's don't look good. I mean yes, I myself have had friends in the past that well where not the best people to be around, but come on. Well lets recap Zazi is from a terrorist country, works at an airport, has friends with bomb instructions, has been to a terror training camp, and makes trips to and from Pakistan. I'm guessing it wasn't Mr. Plum with the candle stick if you know what I mean. His attorney says he was just at the wrong place that the wrong time. I have also been in the wrong place at he wrong time, but I wasn't the guy holding the gun and saying don't move this is a robbery either. My question is if you get pulled over for anything a police officer can ask to search your car and if you say no well he's going to anyway. Question is, if they have all this evidence on Zazi way is he still free. I mean I have seen people get arrested for a lot less.
Like I said before I don't like to judge people I don't know. I don't know made Zazi is just the most unlucky guy in the world, but I highly doubt it. I think that Zazi is up the creek without a paddle at this point. Even if he is telling the truth he will always be watched no matter what he does. One thing that bothers me is that since the age of 14 he has lived in the United States. He has lived here long enough to know that America is not like his country says it is. If he does feel that America is so bad then the hell with him. If he would rather live in prison the rest of his life then so be it. I guess I just don't understand why people would rather live in a country where you have to fear everything rather then live in a country where you can live as you choose.
I guess that just leaves to say that you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.
